Hi All,
Well I finally decided to check out the drum message board. I seem to remember a Country Band Leader back in the early 60's, down in Texas that said the Drummer sets the timing for all the musicians when playing shows. Is that how it's being done today in the studio ? I know that tracks are used but it would seem the final track may be wanting if the timing is out of sync with the vocal. I agree with Mike that if the musicians really like a song they are doing it will show in the playing. I have heard the difference in some demos I have had done. I also hear songs on the radio that it seemed nobody cared much for the song and it shows thru in the music. Comments?
