well some of you already know I'm spanish and based in Spain, though after releasing my album got some nice european gigs taht keeps on coming (scarce but coming) USA was still a complete unknown market for me... Irecently won an award as "best new age album" and also got a nominee as best new age song, but yaaaaaaaaaaay I'm premiering in the east coast (oregon 1-3 August) faerieworlds festival and then back in october into the east coast (PHiladelphia). I have to thank deeply my friends from Woodland who will back me as well, and also imaginosis and The Frouds (yes the designers of my favourite movie "The dark Crystal" are going to present and host my concert... as a fairy illustrator myself and fan of his you can imagine that for me this is indeed a "success story"so as you can imagine it's just a dream come true... or should I say a fairytale...? if someone close to oregon or philladelphia, it'd be lovely to see you there.... more info here http://faerieworlds.comhttp://faeriecon.com

Priscilla,
I checked out your web site and then HAD to share it with my wife. She is the world's biggest faerie fanatic. We greatly enjoyed your music and your artwork. We will definitely be purchasing your music and hope you make it to the midwest.

Hi Priscilla,
Just an FYI, Oregon is on the West Coast of the US. Philadelphia is inland (but accessible by water) to the East Coast. = )
Maybe we'll cross paths in the US or Spain before too long.

Mazel-tov, congratulations! Overseas is a big deal for any artist, no matter which direction. I've never been to Oregon but I have played in Philly. I'm sure you will hear a lot of people talking about the "philly cheese-stake sandwich," which is more like a hoagie or submarine then a panini. It's good, if you like meat with cheese. Since you are into faries, I recommend you visit Haverford. It is a very prestigious Mormon university in Philly, so all the buildings are old-style construction with tons of stone. Even the landscape is like a dreamy Snow White Castle (no tall buildings but I think you get the idea?). Anyway I'm sure the students there would love to hear your music, but more importantly I think you'd enjoy it as a tourist. If you have time for tourism during your trip. They also have their own radio station, so there you go! College exposure! It's a great market for any artist, right? There are plenty of "American" things to see too, in Philly, if you're into that. ~Nick

Moker, thanks for your words on myspace, added you back and thanks Cher and everyone for the encouragement, i'm indeed very excited... it's been also to "fae" family that I'm crossing the pond and thus I thank deeply the organization (woodland, imaginosis and the frouds) for believing in my project... both as illustrator and musician it's sometime really great for me, and aside I have one of the best times on the main stage, 21:00 so if anyone dares to stop by to see me with wings on ;-) you're all very welcomed!

It must be a pretty large production. Let us know when you are here. I know that you don't expect everyone at JPF to go, but anyone in Pa. and Or. should try to make it. Hopefully your debut will bring more shows to the US and we can all meet you. This may be a blessing for you to get your music out for the masses. Ben

it was awesome beyond words, absolutely amazing...!!! the people i met there, my new family the stars and sky and everything, perfect i wish I hadn't come back! then we got home and we were all robbed, all the cash we made, and all our studio, cameras, gear... we were attacked and they took everything from us... this happened back home in spain so I'm now considering even to move... it's been a major scare the festival website has opened a rising fund page for me as i was not insured just in case anyone is interested http://faerieworlds.com/priscilla.html

Priscilla,
I am really sorry to hear what happened to you. Guess I won't add Spain to my next Europe trip (though that could happen anywhere including the US.. we were robbed here the very first night we moved into our new house.. and my wife was robbed at gunpoint on our front door step at the place we moved away from.. and both neighborhoods are considered nice and low crime risk... no place is safe).
Philly isn't the safest city around, but I have a lot of friends there. Oregon is a very rural state outside of Portland but there's a lot of musicians in Portland, especially for the size of it.
The US has far more diversity (aside from Language) than all of Europe combined and then some. So hopefully you'll see even more of it the next time you come.

Oregon and Eugene was amazing i had the greatest of times, and it was very safe actually Barcelona is quite a cool city have been here for two years and nothing happened to me.. i guess it's bad luck, but we're very cautious, we came after three flight transfers very tired, it showed, they had been spying us i'm very sure cos they knew what case they wanted... :/ anyway, time to heal!
in Philly i'll be in a hotel, and the convention is in the same hotel, the theatre is a little distance away and i'll be well covered, we have to go to a radio maybe to make a private accoustic show but we'll be cautious

Hi Priscilla, Sponsored by the FROUDS!!! Wow, that is very cool - I love their work (we talked about this years ago, I'm sure). I'm no longer living in the Philly area, but if I can be in town that weekend in October, I'd love to check out the concert. You might want to consider visiting the Bryn Athyn Cathedral, Cairnwood Mansion, Glencairn Museum; all within walking disctance of each other, and not too far from Philadelphia: http://www.brynathyn.edu/Facilities/CulturalReligiousFacilities/CairnwoodMansionThere are pics of all three places on the above link. I moved out of Philadelphia, because of the increase in crime. Here's a picture of my side yard in West Virginia in the fall. THIS is why I moved: http://www.jpfolks.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/586120/page/2#Post586120

Thanks Tom actually i'm a bit paranoid about going alone to places, so unless the organizators and promoters take us safely there i'm not venturing alone the town... we're having a bad time trying to get what we need for replacing our gear, the faerieworlds will be taking donations during the rest of this week still, and even if it's only a part is really helping a lot. i really would like if you could come to philadelphia, the theater is only 1000 people per night, though the convention is open for thousands of people. Thus the concert itself this time is more "limited" but I think there are plenty of tickets still on faeriecon.com

Hi Priscilla, By this point in time, you should have returned and settled in from your trip to Philadelphia. Sorry I missed it. How was it? I hope you arrived home safely with no robberies this time.

Yes Philadelphia was great, and we were back safe this time, i honestly prefered the Oregon gig, not only it was bigger, the mood and nature was awesome, the robbery incident was a down moment, but I feel encouraged to start from scratch, maybe even the data lost on our new release were for good as i'm re-recording quite a few things right now leave you with a pic this first is from faerieworlds ![[Linked Image]](http://a951.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/8/m_a6b2af1a25c9f7339ddf40ccf53b7df6.jpg) the second from faeriecon (philly) ![[Linked Image]](http://c4.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/55/m_3bdf0018ec2e4172ac0e43bb4badb107.jpg)
