Folks, Sub has done a lot of work for JPFers who rave about his quality. Mike ------------------ You have to practice improvisation. -Art Tatum Mike Dunbar Music
You've got to know your limitations. I don't know what your limitations are. I found out what mine were when I was twelve. I found out that there weren't too many limitations, if I did it my way. -Johnny Cash It's only music. -niteshift Mike Dunbar Music

This man Sub is da King... Quality songs and production - and the playing - woa the playing - is always impeccable....!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif) Hey Sub, since you are in this neck of the woods - is 3 finger style bass playing the way to go? (right hand technique) I am practicing hard man - index, middle, ring, middle and it seems to be coming along nicely - except changing strings during scalar passages does my head in keeping sequence.... Any tips? Maybe you can shoot me a custom instruction video and I can flick you some $$?? I notice John Paul Jones uses 2-3 but in the studio (Zep) he said mainly pick for attack... Squire uses pick - but maybe he plays a lot like a guitar player? Geddie I think uses fingers? And that dude from Dream Theatre uses 4-5....is he from this planet? And that MONSTER BASS player Sub - what technique does he use? ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/wink.gif) Cheers mate Eliot (Down under) ------------------ "I'll see you on the other side - 'cause no-one gets out alive..."
