There's a warm and cozy diner where pickers like to meet Nestled on the corner of Dream and Wandering St They trade licks and lyrics, sometimes lies and sweet nothings And ponder life's complexities over donuts and coffee
Betty's in the kitchen warming up her voice Not afraid to sing with all the noise
They write songs about love, songs about loss Songs about wisecracks that everybody knows They sing about feeling good despite the evening news The diner gets so crowded as the audience grows Everybody's feelin' right, a new song every night 'Neath the neon lights, a new song every night
Sometimes patrons shout for the song they like best Sometimes they just sit and listen like all the rest It's not about the fame, it's not about the fortune Pickers play for free as long as folks are havin' fun
They can't ever take a break Cause' that slide player's case... is always full
They write songs about love, songs about loss...
Betty owns the diner, and she'll sing all night You should hear her sing her song about her blackberry pie Everybody's feelin' right, a new song every night 'Neath the neon lights, a new song every night

If there's something here you can use feel free ... No crediting required.
A New Song Every Night
Verse There’s a neon-lit diner where the night owls meet On the corner of Dream and Wandering street Greasy strings and coffee, cheap guitars in hand Trading truth for stories no one really planned
Pre-chorus Yeah, the world spins crazy outside that door But in here, they just keep coming back for more
Chorus They sing about love, they scream about loss Broken-down hearts and the lines we cross Yeah, they drown out the noise of the 10 o’clock news Turnin’ bad days into something you can use It gets loud, it gets right, it gets outta control Every soul in the room gonna play a role Yeah, it all comes alive in those flickerin’ lights A new song every night
Verse Some shout requests, bangin’ time on the bar Some just sit quiet like they’re carryin’ scars No one’s getting rich, no one’s getting paid But for a couple hours, man, the ghosts all fade
Pre-chorus Ain’t about money, ain’t about fame It’s about burnin’ in a three-minute flame
Bridge Betty’s in the back with a cigarette smile Says, “Stick around, I’ll play in a while” She’s got a song ‘bout pie and a love gone wrong And somehow it hits like a rock ‘n’ roll bomb
Final chorus They sing about love, they scream about loss Raise up a glass for the lines we cross Yeah, the whole damn place starts shakin’ the floor Like nobody’s ever felt this before It gets wild, it gets free, it gets burnin’ bright Like a spark gonna turn into a fire tonight Yeah, you walk in lost, but you walk out right With a new song every night
Outro A new song every night

Yeah', that's what happens when you just throw words at music... winds up sounding like rap that you can't follow without the lyrics. Not that it matters anyway, you abandoned the storyline in the first verse. Typical generic 4chord Pop. Sorry, not impressed. Not even close to what's in my head. I would say "nice try", but that obviously only took SUNO about 2 minutes lol... I do like the idea of a little pre-chorus though... may work on that

I was just trying to help a fellow songwriter. Maybe better luck next time.
