I just wrote a new song called “When No One’s Watchin’. It comes from a place of compassion - and also from a question that’s been on my heart. When a missing person case makes national headlines, we all rally together. Resources pour in. Cameras show up. The world pays attention. And that’s a beautiful thing. But what about the countless mothers and families whose stories never make the news? Do they get the same fight? The same urgency? The same spotlight? This song isn’t about criticism as much as it’s about fairness. Every missing mother deserves the same search, the same hope, the same effort - whether the world is watching or not. When No One’s Watchin'https://soundclick.com/song/15198568[Instrumental Intro] [Verse] Another mom goes missin’ down a quiet little street No cameras flashin’, no reporters at her feet Some folks pray in silence, some folks cry alone While the world just scrolls past on their phones [Pre-chorus] But when the spotlight shines on a famous name The world shows up, and it plays a different game [Chorus] When no one’s watchin’, do they still care? Do they send the searchlights, do they get there? Or is it just a number in a file somewhere? Yeah, the world moves on, but it’s never fair Every mother lost deserves a fight Not just the ones the cameras like [Break] [Verse] She’s just a mom, like mine or yours But headlines scream while other stories get ignored They’ll spare no expense, leave no stone unturned But how many cries go unheard? [Pre-chorus] It’s hard not to notice, hard not to see How fame changes everything, even tragedy [Chorus] When no one’s watchin’, do they still care? Do they send the searchlights, do they get there? Or is it just a number in a file somewhere? Yeah, the world moves on, but it’s never fair Every mother lost deserves a fight Not just the ones the cameras like [Bridge] I hope she comes home safe, that’s the prayer we raise But I won’t forget the ones who slip away It shouldn’t take a name that the world will know To get the heroes out there, to make the searchlights glow [Interlude] [Final chorus] When no one’s watchin’, do they still care? Do they send the searchlights, do they get there? Or is it just a number in a file somewhere? Yeah, the world moves on, but it’s never fair Every mother lost deserves a fight Not just the ones the cameras like [Outro] So light a candle for the ones unseen Every missing heart deserves to be seen

Dom, I don't understand the connection. I think you misunderstood my song. This song is not about "Greatness"". When a missing person case makes national headlines, we all rally together. Resources pour in. Cameras show up. The world pays attention. And that’s a beautiful thing. But what about the countless mothers and families whose stories never make the news? Do they get the same fight? The same urgency? The same spotlight? These are the cases no one's watching. This song isn’t about criticism as much as it’s about fairness. Every missing mother deserves the same search, the same hope, the same effort — whether the world is watching or not. This is the thread I was watching: https://www.jpfolks.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/1214329/nancy-guthrie.html#Post1214329
