https://suno.com/song/d9658d9f-8a6e-4f84-8b02-4cde697c387d[Verse 1] I wake up with the bottle talkin’, Says, “Son, you lost that war.” There’s lipstick on the mirror, But she don’t live here anymore. My knuckles know the drywall, My boots know the dark, Ain’t no law for love gone cold, Just time behind them scars. [Chorus] I’m livin’ inside a broken heart, Where the lights don’t shine and the jukebox starts. Every song’s a ghost with her name on the part, Yeah, I’m servin’ hard time in a busted bar. Ain’t no gettin’ out, can’t restart — I’m livin’ inside a broken heart. [Verse 2] The sheriff knows my number, Bartender knows my pain, My truck still smells like her perfume, And diesel, smoke, and rain. There’s freedom in the ashes, But hell, it’s dark to see, When the chains are made of memories And they’re draggin’ down on me. [Bridge] I tried prayin’, I tried sinnin’, Neither one got me far. You can’t outrun your demons, When they ride in your car. [Final Chorus / Outro] I’m livin’ inside a broken heart, Bleedin’ out blues like a steel-string scar. Whiskey for my lawyer, guilt for my guard, And her goodbye tattooed deep in the dark. Ain’t no parole from love torn apart — I’m livin’ inside… Yeah, I’m livin’ inside… A broken heart.

Ben,
Seems SUNO has unleashed the poet. I like the way that you paint a scene.
