https://suno.com/song/9c2b6c5c-e993-4e99-809a-bd40de584914[Verse 1] I been runnin’ from ghosts down a two-lane road, Whiskey in my blood and a heavy load, Every scar on my skin’s another prayer, But I got too many crosses to bear. Mama said, “Son, you can’t outrun sin,” But the devil keeps ridin’ shotgun again, He’s laughin’ while I curse the air, ’Cause I got too many crosses to bear. [Chorus] Yeah, I’m a sinner in denim, a drifter in chains, Prayin’ for mercy in a life full of pain, God knows I’ve tried, but hell don’t care— I got too many crosses to bear. [Verse 2] The church bells ring but they don’t sound right, Echo off the hills in the dead of night, I light up smoke, breathe in despair, ’Cause I got too many crosses to bear. Every friend I lost, every love gone cold, Just another story that’ll never be told, I walk that line, but it’s thin as prayer, With too many crosses to bear. [Chorus] Yeah, I’m a sinner in denim, a drifter in chains, Prayin’ for mercy in a life full of pain, God knows I’ve tried, but hell don’t care— I got too many crosses to bear. [Bridge] One for the whiskey, one for the pain, One for the nights I stood in the rain, If redemption’s real, it’s damn sure rare, For a man with too many crosses to bear. [Outro / Final Chorus] Yeah, I’m a sinner in denim, a drifter in chains, Livin’ half crazy, ridin’ through flames, If heaven’s up high, I’ll meet ya there— When I lay down these crosses I bear. Yeah… when I lay down these crosses I bear.
We’re all built from the same dust and dreams, Different roads, but the same means.

Damn Ben,
I wish that I had more to offer you than just a hobbyist's opinion. In this hobbyist's opinion, you are a very talented writer. To my sensibilities, one good line after another.
To my ear, SUNO modeled this after a Blake Shelton song (God's Country), that sounds modeled on a Nickelback song (Rockstar). Makes me recall "Poke Salad Annie," and other "swamp songs," as well as "Country Boy Can Survive."
QUESTION: These last few songs. Are you putting them in an AI program or writing the lyrics entirely unassisted?
In other news...did you know that Miranda Lambert punched Nickelback's lead singer in anger, in a bar?

Marty I use a AI app for grammar mistakes and ask if the line makes sense , The app fixes mistakes in the line , or it says line makes sense . You do have to correct Livin, burnin, ect if the app comes back with a g on the end .Then I take it over to Suno and put it in there. I just write all day , I've got nothing to do. The app does suggest why don't you say it this way and corrects the line , You have to feed it allow slang I played with Suno assist for curiosity , its lyrics are poetic that I tried Lambert is a wild child its basically a co-cowriter , it beats a few lines I come up with I asked the app do I own rights to song if you help fix things ? I don’t claim any ownership of what I generate for you. OpenAI’s terms say that you (the user) own the rights to the output I create for you, as long as it doesn’t contain material from third parties
