It was late summer, a few years ago.
I had the idea to write a cycle of songs — a story about the late summer, told through music.
A few of those songs never made it past the sketch stage,
but one of them did: “Gegen die Zeit.”
A song about holding on to moments that are already fading —
about youth, freedom, and the quiet fight against time itself.
