This one is pretty minimal in production and lyrically. Nekane is on vocals. I'm getting through the flu season here at my house, LOL. I'm feeling better, though. Lyrics at link https://s.disco.ac/wasxytbhmcehTIA ๐ง๐ถ๐๐

I agree with Elvis. This seems ideal for sync. Maybe more so than as a stand-alone song because of the obscure and vague nature of the lyrics, something which could be an advantage in sync, along with its dreamy quality, which could lend itself to numerous cinematic contexts. Beautiful production!

Beautiful production! Thank you, Gavin, for your kind words. Yes, this one is for sync too. All my songs are for sync now. Artist cuts are hard to get even indies. Their managers, producers, etc, choose their songs for them anymore. It's not like it used to be back in the day.

A soul broke with too much bending Instead of soaring Iโm descending
Is it worth the sad
How do I survive When the color of blue Jilted my sky And simply broke me in two
Whatโs left of me canโt find the light Stuck in the wreckage of our fight
Is it worth the sad
How do I survive When the color of blue Jilted my sky And simply broke me in two
The ground beneath wonโt let me rise Still trapped under your endless lies
How do I survive When the color of blue Jilted my sky And simply broke me in two
This is a superb lyric, starting with the first 2 lines..... and I love how you took an old theme and burned the mundane box, most of us write in, giving it a newness that comes with the kind of writing expressed here.
A soul broke with too much bending....simple and to the point
Is it worth the sad....just a great line....particularly...โthe sadโ
When the color of blue Jilted my sky........I interpreted blue to be sadness, thatโs why it makes sense
Even your use of the word โsimplyโ is perfect....I think you may have given some thought to its use....
Excellent writing Marilyn
