I really like this Lisa...a bit off the wall but a universal theme...how small kids are influenced by these scenes. Who cannot relate to gruesome??

I'm actually just reading a book about the Tudor dynasty. Just finished ole Henry's part in things. He really was a wretched creature, and many many people were executed in his reign...many for their wealth (monks and abbots of monasteries), while the rest were killed because of his almost impossible to adhere to laws created because he needed to be the absolute ruler. ANY deviation from his (well Cromwell and Cranmer's) policies was deemed treasonous, any disagreement was punished by death.

Even Cromwell was beheaded after years of service, while Cranmer was burned by Mary, his daughter.

Not a good time to be an independent thinker smile
