I want to run beneath the raindrops
Feel them dance upon my skin
I want to take in every sunrise
See each new day begin
I want to memorize the smiles
Share tears with those who cry
I want to hold a new born baby
Embrace the old while there's yet time
For life speeds on...
The eye blinks once...Yesterday's gone
And spring-time's child...is no more
I want to run beneath the raindrops
Watch them flow into a stream
I want to trace the watercolored path
Of a rainbow to the sea
I want to frame each tender moment
My children share with me
I want to walk close to my Maker
He knows my every need
For life speeds on...
