Hi Marc.... Afternoon!! Ballads. I write both childrens and adult genre' (other than kids) songs... The adult genres I write...the majority are ballads or adult contemporary and many veins of Christian songs. I'm still learning genres..and many times I'm really not sure what I've written. But I write both for the satisfaction it gives...and I'm always trying to improve and not overlook opportunities. I've read and have appreciated your comments on country ballads...slower songs etc.. Is your comment on slower songs/ Ballads...straight across the other genres....or do you see exceptions where a slower song might go through a door... from an outside writer. If I'm not clear...let me know. Very best to you this afternoon... and thank you.... Kaley

"Defeatist Pessimists and Rose Colored Glasses Optimists are lonely companions, victims even. Both ideologies imply predestined outcomes, and therefore breed inactivity in its victims. Inaction is the only sure way to lose at anything in life. All positive action guarantees at least a fighting chance." -Brian Austin Whitney
