Hey Janice,

I'm so glad I caught this one out of the corner of my eye....it's really very good.

For some reason I thought it was going to be a humorous piece, but it is in fact very poignant. You've written a tender story...and the progression is conveyed quite well in your cleverly crafted choruses.

There might be a couple of extra syllables in there, but I reckon that would be resolved with whatever music you might get for it. It does sound like a good candidate for musicating!

Of course, as the mother of some incredibly inquisitive kiddos...I can appreciate this at another level as well. About a year ago now, my seven year old asked me "where does the sky touch the ground?" Naturally, I directed him to his dad ( grin )! Actually, just pointed off to the horizon, and said "over there". :/

So again, Janice, thanks for playing. No such thing as TOO LATE on these deals....

Ciao for now,
Beth
