When "Screamin' Gulch," the band I've been playing with, want to learn a new song, the banjo player will usually write the words down on a sheet of paper and we'll lay it down on the floor somewhere around the front of the stage. The banjo player's handwriting is illegible, and the writing is too small for anybody to read. But everybody says it helps them remember the song. Go figure.

Lady Fitz, I'd wondered about the "your neck of the woods" until I noticed where you were from. Wrong Phoenix, I'm afraid. Mine's in Oregon (and a lot smaller and cooler).
