Hi Lady Fitzgerald!
I used to be an actor once upon a time, and often had to memorize long passages. For the most part, I got used to remembering a line based on being cued by the line before it...but sometimes I would keep forgetting the same spot. So what I did was make flash cards for those spots I always forgot---the card had the last word on one side, and the first word of the next line on the other. I'd drill myself until I knew what word was coming next, and then the rest of the line would just come to me.
Maybe that would work for you with certain songs...sounds like you remember the whole line, but can't remember which one comes next.
