I guess your talking about the Epestien files , what a distraction to deflect the economy in the toilet Hey Ben, yes, the song is inspired by the Epstein case — it’s been all over the news and it’s a genuinely horrific story. I’m not trying to make a political point, just writing about something deeply human and tragic. Songwriters have always responded to real events, and this one struck me. Thanks for reading.
