Hey Barry,
Nice shuffle... cool sentiment... it says it how it is.
I have the same feeling about London at Xmas. Magic !
I think the solo is a bit long, the song itself displays well, and I think the break is un-warranted.
Production wise ? Not so good to have the "chunka" sound representing your song.
Just a voice/piano would better represent itself.
cheers, niteshift

Hey Barry,
A chunka sound ? One that sounds like you're playing the Holiday Inn in 1985.
Doing the best you can ? No you're not. You're just falling back on old gear and lazy repitition.
There's a million sound samples oout there which you can use, and most of thema are free. All it takes is a bit of effort to update your sound from a stinky demo, to something which is sonically pleasing to the ear.
Arrangement would also help in evolving the song. You don't need an expensive studio, just imagination.
cheers, niteshift

So, this song feels like Christmas. I could imagine someone singing it in one of the Christmas special shows that come on between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Complete with a dance number and everything. The song FEELS like Christmas. I think that the instrumental could probably be a little shorter. Overall great job!

Hey pretty good singing on this one -- and the song has a lot of appeal. The "chunka" sound is that rhythm piano (and maybe guitar) just doing that steady plunking.
The solo doesn't add too much -- need a better instrument. Again, Good singing!!

Love the slideshow! And the music isn't all that bad...the "sax" sounds digital, so if I were you, I'd move the melody in the saxophone around more, that's what a soloing sax player would do, anyway...
Good job, and good luck with the New York crowd.
