jeez i never imagined that these words could fall from my pen to paper.

everytime a woman says to her man
you know it's time we said goodbye
the man looks so damn confused
cause he doesn't know the reason why

like his lack of affection, is some kind of secret
and how his grumbling gets more boring by the day
work sucks, life is a bitch, time you learned a little respect
isn't it 'bout time you had a heavy price to pay

it's a man's lament, that he just doesn't see
everything, like it's supposed to be
life wouldn't be so hard if you
only had, the courage to talk to me
not like i was your household slave
but with a modicum of equality

it wouldn't be so bad, if it would just end here
but all the apologies make it so strange
don't you think i know you're crying through your fear
and short of becoming a mutation, you ain't gonna change

there's no other animal quite like a man
who hasn't the ability to understand
that pack your bags, get out of my life
means i no longer want to be your wife

YES, ON THIS ONE...It's great idea and great lyrics, altho maybe some meters are off, but dont know if you have a melody yet.
How about Shania Twain singing this one??

I CHANGED like to 'CAUSE HERE, beCAUSE, he really DOES NOT know the reason why at all , usually. I have lots of experience on this subject (left 3 behind that didnt know why, ha ha)...
I have no other tweaks here at all, and would sure like to hear it when it is set to music. It tells the story like it is. Almost sounds like you've been there in that place, Ritt ! You really know about this subject somehow....hmmmmmmmmm. Dixie

well i don't have a female singer that i work with, so no music yet, and i guy could do a demo, but it would have to be, extremely narrative, yuck. So it's up for grabs, do you sing? I know your daughter does melodies----------

as per meter, i usually don't pay much attention to meter, cause it all depends on what syllables/vowels that a singer puts emphasis on, and as long as the lyric has a decent flow, it'll all work out in the end.

oh and yea i've been there, and even wrote a "guy" song, but as women are want to say, i've come a long way baby!!!!!!!!!
