So what do JPF do in the UK? Do they have meetings? Are there organisers? Or is it just ths forum?

JPF as an organisation which is active all over the world. However, the UK Chapter is just a forum at the moment. Hopefully soon there will be enough interest to stage some kind of UK JPF get together. Also there will be JPF Roadshows here and in Europe in the future. Brain Austin Whitney is the main man on JPF, I am the UK moderator. So please be active on the forums and if you have any ideas please make them known. If you have any UK specific topics please post them here.

It would help us all if you had an actual name as we like getting to know actual people. A real first name at least would be great.
We did a 5 week Roadtrip tour of the UK/Ireland in 2009 where we met with members in England, Wales, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland. We didn't have large enough numbers for shows like we do in the USA and Canada, but I hope next time around we will.
Any city can have a local chapter with a volunteer coordinator and at least 10 interested local musicians or songwriters who want to be involved. Let us know if you'd like to start one up. You should also add your city and Country like Nigel has so people know where you are from. This board is all about making friends, connections and giving/getting help of all types. But helping real people is much better than a stranger under a false or ficticious name. Perhaps in time you'll trust folks here enough to give it a try.
