Hi Kristi,

Thanks for stopping by and sharing our fun. The harmonica and guitar are courtesy of Kevin, a great addition to our couple of words and melody. Glad you like it.

This is a gem and I think it works really well. Top marks for your vocal Ricki - It’s worth doing a really polished version, it could become a cult classic – nice bridge! wink

Hi Nite,

Thanks for listening. Most of that cleverness is due to Beth. She's always up for a challenge. If only I was into that whole performance thing. Musical performance, I mean. smile

Good morning Tom,

You've always struck me as a gentleman, so your insertion was well-received wink . Glad too we could keep you awake long enough to laugh out loud. That's music to my ears.

Thanks for the visit! smile

Hi Kim smile ....

So NOW you tell us about that little gem? That you can't reach Climax without Getting Off at HorneyTown? Holy smokes...I gotta see pictures of this place.

ANYHOO, so delighted your once off-hand comment has morphed into this fun-loving naughty little tune. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say thank you for the inspiration!!

Cheers,
Beth

Hiya Kristi...

Having written with both Ricki and me before, YOU at least know not to believe all this "BETH is the naughty one" malarkey Ricki has been spouting wink ! She is a dear though, too, so I just try to take a few moments from my needlepoint and charity work to keep her on the straight and narrow...

That aside (LOL!), so glad you enjoyed this. Kevin really added some neat embellishments...and it's a kick to see what a kernel of an idea can turn into.

Thanks for the visit!

Hey Tracy,

Thank you so much for your kind feedback.

Hi Pete,

Hi Nigel,

Thanks for the great comments. I'm sorry I was so negligent in letting everyone know how helpful your suggestion was for that bridge. It added just the right amount of sass.

On another note, not to get too personal, but looking at your avatar, have you recently put on some weight?

What a clever write and the vocals are perfection.
The musical arrangement is just stellar.

Hi there John,

Anyhoo, thanks so much for the visit. As for anything to add, no worries -- didn't you hear a smile is worth a thousand words? grin

Hey nite,

Boy, "clever" is one of my favorite comments, so thanks for that. Ricki and I were true partners in crime on this one.

Regarding Ricki playing it live, I'd have to agree it would be cool -- at the very least, it beats the alternative wink.

Ciao for now,
Beth

Hey there Dan!

Yay, another smile -- we must have done something right here smile . If we did though, it's Ricki's fault wink ....

Naturally, I'm with you -- she rocks. Though in this case, she sneakily blued wink .

Thanks so much for the generous and fun-filled feedback smile .

Well at least your home town had a stop light, mine only had a blinker. Kinda like your song going to Climax, blink, blink. What state is Climax in? Is it I da ho? Maybe Virgin nah? Well I had a good time listening and I know it was good for you. Maybe you could send this song to Mary Flower who is a local Blues gal here in Portland. But if she sang this one she might want to change her name to Mary dee Flower? Okay gotta go.

Pete

Oh my goodness Pete, you are certainly full of good ideas! It's nice to see a song trigger such fun tangents.

Thanks so much for your input and suggestions smile ...

Take care,
Beth

Hi there Ben,

Well it appears the cat is out of the bag. I thought for sure you guys were buying the demure wallflower act...

As for Ricki, she IS the epitome of shy; I'm just grateful she starts drinking so early in the day... wink

Those character analyses aside, thanks for your visit Ben. Glad you enjoyed it...

ciao for now,
Beth

Hi there Nige,

Aren't you sweet to say such nice things. I've always wanted to be part of a cult classic...and I'm so grateful it's something legal.

As for a "polished version", there's a rumor that Tammy is going to give it a shot (though I still love what Ricki did with it smile ).

Thanks too for your assistance on the bridge...and combined with Kevin's musical enhancements, this has really been a group effort.

Appreciate your input as always Nigel.

Take care,
Beth

Hi there sabrinao,

It's always a little awkward to meet under such naughty circumstances wink ...but you smoothed everything out by being so sweet.

Happy to hear you were able to read between the lines smile ...

Thanks a bunch,

Hi Jinx,

Thanks for stopping by again. I've been slack on the FIRST round of feedback, so I appreciate your patience.

Great job ladies

Hi Nelson,

Ah, one of my favorite people. I'm so glad you got a chance to take a listen to this and give us your thoughts on it. Coming from you, your generous feedback means a LOT.

OMG Bob,

I think I'm actually caught up now!!

Thank you so much for giving us a listen. We had a lot of fun playing around with the lyrics...and Ricki surely sold it with her bluesy vocal. We were pretty pumped to hear Kevin's additions, and we're looking forward to hearing what Tammy does with it too.

So I guess over and above "THANKS", a big "STAY TUNED" is in order...

Until then, take care,
Beth

And a good bump too....

I remember this one, very clever. It deseves some more musical work to finish it, even to demo stage. The uniqueness is priceless.

cheers, niteshift

The trouble with this song is that some women pretend they have heard it just to keep their partners happy wink

Thanks for the kind comments nite. I know Ricki's pretty busy with some other projects, but I'm sure she'd be delighted to see this one back on the table.

Take it easy!
