I think it is time for another French lyrics... :-)
For those who do not speak French, but nevertheless would like to know what it is about, I have added a rough translation below...

As you've no doubt discovered by-now. we Americans aren't mulyi-lingual..(with maybe the Hispanic Exception..heh!)

I did enjoy the Challenge of your French Version here..(& I'd sug "..CHAQUE lettre de ton nom")..KOS.

I guess we, here, prefer more Bluntness/Honesty in a Relationship. To us, a Hug & a Kiss isn't exchanged as-freely as in Europe..So HERE, Her-having-kissed-The-Singer WOULD mean "they're MORE than Friends"..and all this Psychological Anguish The Singer's now going-through..(about "not telling her")..doesn't seem TOO Realistic.

As a Listener, I yearn to hear MORE about what his "reasons" ARE to be In This Situation..bet we never do. So..using my American-Flavored Logic..I deduce he's either "Married-to-Someone-Else" or he's totally-committed to his Job..neither of which makes HIM look-too-good. OR..heh.."SHE's Married"..or totally-committed to HER job.

Lyrically/Structurally..it's very Well-Composed. Your French seems flawless..(I am SO jealous!)..snd your Translation's very well done, too. &..I hope I've done a good critique for ya, New Amigo! Good Luck with this lyric!

Just this past Sunday I went to see a group from Quebec who perform mostly in French. They are Le Vent du Nord, and their website is www.leventdunord.com. You might try pitching it to them among others. I think it just might fit their repetoire.

Thank you very much for your thoughts and commments and, of course, also for your efforts concerning understanding the "strange" language... yes, in deed, I have already made the experience that most Americans are not multi-lingual (with the maybe Hispanic exception as you have said) ;-)
Thank you also for telling me that from the American point of view, as people in Europe are probably more "immediate", some things do not seem too realistic because of differences of mentality... I have never thought about that, but now when you say, yes... I suppose that you are right... Never thought about different perspectives...
By the way, I have liked your suggestion regarding "chaque lettre" and have already changed it that way...
