I am excited to report that this summer is ushering in the proverbial musical heat wave. My writing team and I are on fire pumping out what I can imagine is the beginning of some great things and I couldn't be more pleased. I've got a song currently hitting the air waves on the radio in Germany and Europe, co-wrote another song that is on hold at Atlantic Records and I hope to hear back from them soon about whether the song will be a single on the radio here on major pop music stations in the United States. I worked with another artist that is on the verge of signing a deal with Universal Records and the two songs my team and I wrote are being considered as break out singles for this artist in the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States.

I hope you love the song and if you do, please tell everyone you know and ask them to send in an email request to the radio station. It feels surreal to hear a song I did on a major radio station, even if it isn't in America. :-)

Another band I wrote for called SELECT THREE (they recently opened for Jon Bon Jovi in front of a crowd of over 20,000 fans) will be visited by A&R representatives from Island Def Jam Records and lets hope there is a marriage between label and band soon. If so, I could be looking at another single! :-)

Other than doing the music thing, I am proud to let you know that I am in the process of putting together my very first feature film. I am writing a comedy with Ryan Christopher (former member of boy band TAKE FIVE) and we hope to have all the pieces together and ready to film by Summer 2011. As more information/details become available that I am able to share, I will let you know.

Thanks buddy. Yeah, as soon as I can drop details on the movie, I will for sure. I'm keeping a tight lid on it right now though until something concrete happens with it. We're working on the script right now and that will take some time to finish. The next step is shopping it out to some production companies and getting it picked up with a sizeable budget. Fortunately, we already have a big name attached to our project to be the lead, so that will most definitely help us sell the script. If all goes well (I hope it does), then filming will begin next year.
