Hey Brian...
The body has ways to tell us when we are pushing too hard.
I wish you a speedy recovery.

Thanks to everyone for the prayers and thoughts that have meant so much. I wanted to give you a little update on Brian. He is doing remarkably well in his recovery. He is out of the ICU so he has a whole new set of nurses to torment. We are expecting him to come home on Wednesday or Thursday as long as his labs come back as expected. The doctors are very positive about his recovery from this event and every day the improvements we are seeing are amazing. He sure did give me a big scare on Thursday. When I heard his booming voice joking with the doctors and nurses in the ER, I knew that he was still the same old Brian.
Please continue to keep him in your prayers. I'm sure he will be back on here soon telling you all about his ordeal. Right now he is trying to get sleep which is nearly impossible in a hospital with people coming in every couple of hours to poke and prod!
Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers, Linda

Brian, sorry to hear you are sick. You've got to stop pushing yourself so hard, get more rest, your body is not a machine. It's a self contained unit that requires good nourishment, clean water and rest to repair itself. When we get sick it usually means our body is trying to tell us that something is lacking. So ask yourself what it is and rectify it. Get well soon.

Hi Brian,
I just heard what happened and I am so sorry that you had to go through that, but even happier that you are making such great progress. I know from experience that the body has it's ways of telling you that it is in charge at times....if I came back from where I was at, I know that you, with your drive and enthusiasm..can surely do it too. I have faith in that, just as you have always had so much faith in US here on JPF. The loving and inspiring community that you have created for all of us, now surrounds you, our leader....with more hopes and prayers than you can possibly imagine. It is the very least we can do for you, after what you have done and continue to do for all of us.
We need you, Brian....get well soon.

Brian and Linda,
I'm praying for your recovery Brian, and peace for both you and Linda. It's alot to go through and you both work so hard to maintain such an incredible site, then the body says slow down, and that's easier said than done. I can see you've put alot of love in this site! That tells me I need to find a way to give back.
Take care,
Geneva

Hi Folks,
Well... I am back from the dead (literally) so it seems I must still have more work to do. I'll tell the entire story soon, but I wanted to pop in and say hi myself. Thanks for the well wishes.. I miss everyone and look forward to being able to do more around here soon!
