Gosh, life has been so crazy busy I not been on the board AT ALL! Hope to be able to drop in more often soon. In the meantime... I just wanted to drop a note to let you know I have finished recording my new CD, Joanne Lurgio, Nothing Remains the Same!!! Started out as a demo project thanks to Bobbie Gallup & Mike Dunbar and the Pineyfest Demo Derby! I loved the songs so much that I upgraded to have the songs for my own .. went back to finish up a full length CD. Working with Mike Dunbar has given me the opportunity to record with some wonderfully talented musicians with great stories to tell... not to mention the benefit of Mike's experience from working many years in this music industry : ) I am very grateful. I will keep you posted on a release date! Hey Joanne, Way to go mate. In your honur, I'm currently listening to "Nothing Remains the Same". Beautiful song, gets me every time. Ya better have done a good job on this album, and it better measure up to that single. If not, I'm getting in my rowboat to kick Mike D's ass. I'm pretty sure I don't need to. Bloomin'heck?!?!!? : ) You shouldn't have to look around. True Love should start playing when the page is opened (you'll hear the saxaphone) ... If it doesn't start right up the music player is at the top of the page - to the right of my picture, True Love is set in the player, ready to go. Sorry to be so late to this party...but I am the lucky one who actually has heard all these songs and I have to say...I LOVE LOVE LOVE this entire CD!! Joanne...you are incredible...and you KNOW I mean that from the bottom of my heart because I plan to sign at least 4 of them for my upcoming film!!! Amazing songs...and performed in your inimitable Joanne style...with heart!!

People,
you owe it to yourself to acquire Joanne's CD. As a listener this is one of the best albums I've ever heard. Rather than crossing genres she managed to pull the best of them together. And yes she has something to sing about. Big stars have gone their whole careers without putting up the number of great songs on this album. Of course this is just my opinion.
