Songwriting Challenge #20
The goal of our "Song Challenges" is to write songs/lyrics on demand within set parameters. We don't critique each other's songs in this thread (but you can say you like someone's song if you want to.) Please post your original works. If you have already written a song/lyric that fits within the parameters, please feel free to post it.
The new challenge is to write a love song which uses the word "Yesterday" in the hook. You may have a chorus and the hook must be in the chorus or you can use the hook in a repeating line in each of the verses.

Just a suggestion...but you might try tossing this over to the Lyric 3 gang...they're always up for a good challenge!
Over there, we do tend to give feedback...but this is your show, so you decide the rules!!

Hi Jean, Still searching for one I wrote as a challenge from Derek or Beth over on Lyric Board 3 where we had to use "yesterday, today, tomorrow". Wish I knew how to use that darn search engine better !@#$%&*()_+"! Anyway here's another one I had in my song folder w/yesterday in the Chorus.  "We Had Such A History"(c)2008 Lynn Orloff No one said that love was easy, Although for us it was awhile, I remember when it started, It was the day I saw your smile. But time went on and something changed, Therein lies the mystery, I'm not sure all the reasons why, Since we had such a history. Chorus

Hi, Lynn. Glad to be of service. My daughter was driving the car and was broadsided by an older Buick running a red light. She had sore muscles and bruises but will be OK.
