Adam Sandler is truly HYSTSERICAL in "YOU DON'T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN", a Slapsticky Tale of Jewish & Other Warring Middle Eastern Ex-patriots who all end up as "Neighbors" in busy NYC. A really-quirky, Over-The-Top Tale of finding Happiness, Success, and "Understanding" The HARD WAY..in the U.S.A. (Get It?) ;-)>
Overly-Generous Servings of Crotch-Humor, but Lordy, It's SO Crassly-FUNNY it's-Forgiveable, gets a "7 1/2-Outta-10", & I'd call it Sandler's BEST Flick in Ages. Quite Gal-Friendly Throughout, and its "Peace & Understanding" Plea, via Humor, is SO Effective, you'll be glad ya went.
"ZOHAN" is expected to do over $40 Mil this weekend (Already DID $38.5 by Sat Nite) which made it #2 Flick in the US behind "Kung Fu Panda"..(which I'd recommend seeing first.)
But this ISN'T a Kiddie-Friendly sort of Flick..it's just All Down-&-Out Adult Comedy that Takes NO Prisoners. Downright BEAUTIFUL Arab & Israeli Gals in Bikinis/ZOHAN catchin' fish with naked Butt Cheeks...Local Cab-Drivin'-Terrorists tossin' Neosporin Bombs at Zohan's Hairdressin' Shop...Hey, Leave PC-ed-ness at home & OY..Go See It..It's FUNNY!!!
JMO..Keep-or-Sweep-it! Big Hugs, Stan

You've given this the best review I've read.. most have trashed it. Would you say it's better than the Love Guru? Seems like they're the same bad movie?

Hi Again, Bro Bri!
It's Interesting to see What These 2 Comedic Geniuses come up with, Time-After-Time. Mike brings us '60's & '70's Vignettes...Adam brings us Jewish Humor. Me, I liked The Latter, because, as I said, it's "SO Funny It's Forgiveable." Mike's ISN'T so funny.
Mike's is more For The Guys (JMO) and Adam scores with one that's particularly Gal-Friendly, in a Crotch-Rubbin' sorta way.
There's "Crass" in Both Productions...but, no pun intended, Adam Sandler Pulls It Off...AND he really scores in the points he makes about "Terrorist" Profiles...& Life-Today in some of NYC's Melting-Pot enclaves.
Thanks for Your Kind Visite, Amigo! Stan

"Money is worst reason to be motivated NOT to do anything. Instead of letting those concerns STOP you, use it to motivate yourself to find an alternate solution that bypasses money. You will soon find that your own resourcefulness is worth far more than a pile of paper money." –Brian Austin Whitney
