I hope 2008 is off to a great start for you. Please come join us Monday Nights at the Green Planet Coffee House http://www.greenplanetcoffee.com/index.shtml for Anti-Karaoke night hosted by Pat Karwan http://cdbaby.com/cd/patkarwanWe are now forming Luthier's Pride Performing Arts Society, to provide cultural activities for the guitar enthusiast to hear and play hand-crafted guitars in Mini Concerts and intimate settings. We will present a wonderful lineup of performances with a wide range of musical styles and include the building of the guitar in the concept of a total tonal guitar experience. I understand that our continued success is dependent on professionals who care about establishing a better way to unite luthiers and musicians for the enrichment of all who love music. Please consider lending your support to our efforts. We would certainly benefit from your expertise and knowledge, if you decide to share it and assist us. Any feedback or suggestions you may have, as well as any contacts with those like minded individuals would be invaluable to us. Thank you for your kind consideration of this request. I look forward to speaking to you soon. Thank you once again Russ Campbell www.luthierspride.orgluthierspride@verizon.net

Russell, could you provide an update if possible? A while ago I visited both Green Planet Coffee locations....the one in Manasquan said only the one in Point Pleasant was doing music, and the one in Point Pleasant didn't seem to know much (or at least the kid behind the counter didn't). And it was a tiny store with no performance area.

"Just Plain Folks is like a plow. A plow is a tool that can be used to help feed thousands of hungry people. But there are two groups of people on the planet. One group of people realizes that for the plow to help feed people, they must actually USE the plow to prepare the field to grow the food to feed the people. The second group of people are the ones who stand and stare at the plow and wait for the food to drop out of it. Of course that group is much smaller because those people all eventually starve to death." –Brian Austin Whitney
