Hi All

I just got new video software and so to test it out I filmed my practice session of the arrangement I'm working on for our song Polka-Dotted Colors written by Calvin Stewart and me..... My First video! you can view it on the link below....if you have dial up...pause the player and go do something els 'cause it takes a while to load.

Cool... song and video work. The picture looks great. Looks like you have a widescreen setting 16x9 happening. I love widescreen. Check and see if you set it regular or not. This frame you have cuts off the top of your hread and some bottom of the guitar. Could be the normal setting and you were just out of the frame.

Also waht s cool about video's is they can be a fast way to get a song idea down. Like we do on cassettes. Only you can see the chords your playing and wher you had the cappo etc... A great way to quickly lay down ideas fast if the camera is set up all the time.

and I had not thought of it as a record of what I did, but you are so right...it's a great idea. Thanks and yes....in the window I see all of my head is there so I probably need to choose a smaller format to transfer... I knew nothing, so now I know a couple of things..
