Can you put the stream link up please Jan, as an 8 minute download is a bit of an ask for reviewing purposes. I did have a listen to the song clip, and sounds like good "down the pub"tuff to me, so look forward to watching the vid. Graham

This is another well done video. I have not tried this yet. I wonder how do you sync the music with the players? Each time it switches the player is in perfect sync with the music. How do you do that?
My only suggestion is to save it at a smaller bit rate. Anything over a 4 MB file is a long download if you don't have very high speed internet. Even 4 MB is a long wait if you are on dialup
You will loose a little video quality but more folks will be able to view it.

Hi Bill, The first most imporatnt thing is to actually play to your musical track. In other words make sure that actual recording of the song is playing when your shooting. When I did the Brooklyn song I didn't lip sync I actually sang it like if you were doubling your vocal track.. Then you can sync up in whatever softaware you use. There are more technical ways to work with smpte and numbers etc.. but this way works fast and easy and that equals fun Jan can tell us what method the guys used here...? Thanks

Bill and Mike, glad you enjoyed the video. Mike I think your explanation to Bill is correct. I will ask Gunnar the studio owner to chime in on the details:) All the best Jan Petter

Ok Mike Thanks. That makes perfect sense. The next question would be. How do you sync it when you mix the video with the audio recording. or do you record the video directly into the daw software while the audio is playing.
I can video record to tape then transfer to hard disk but that seems like it would take a lot of editing to sync the video clips with the audio. Is that how it is done?

That's great Jan. I've yet to try making a video with different clips and then syncing them all together. What a great keepsake for the band members too!

Hi Bill, It all depends on what software you have on your computer. Years ago I used to sit with 2 VCR's and a cassette tape deck. I would send the video from one player and record it on to the other while sending in the audio at the same time. If i missed it I would start again & again I pretty much work the same way now lol... If I been using the very friendly I Movie that comes with a Mac Computer. Once you import your video in then you import your audio in. With the software today it's easy and you can just drag the audio or video file untill you see & hear it sync up. I have no technical knowledge, but I am a do-er. I worked for hours on end till the sun is way up to figure how to get what I want to happen, happen It never comes out perfect but it comes out I learn the hard way, but I learn and understand the teeny bit I do know very well. I'm stuck right now with an analog camera and need to get a box that will let me bring analog into the computer. All the digital camera's today plug right in usb or firewire... Besided I want to transfer old VHS to the computer..
