I can't speak for the Bass community, but at least in Cleveland, drummers/percussionist who play anything other then punk/metal/hardrock are few and far between. So, having them frequent something they percive as 'folk' is damn near impossible, of the small percentage that do come to the site, you get maybe one or two that post until something that sparks their interest comes along. One of the only "problems" I see with Just Plain Folks is that a lot of people assume it is "Folk" music only - and only traditional singer songwriters with an acoustic guitar are welcome. Of course the participants know better, but it can be an obstacle.
Marty my home Experience is that marvelous thing that enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again!

That's certainly a possibility. I've sent emails to my list of online bass players and drummers. I've also posted on dedicated bass sites and dedicated drum sites. We've gotten just a few posts. I've also tried posting questions that have gotten only a few replies. This week I'll be sending Brian an article that he can include in Just Plain Notes. Beyond that, I don't know what else to try. LOL! Well mike, I can suggest the obvious. Oh well, like I said, lack of interest I guess. So again, why post in the first place if not going to reply? (ya know, those other posts left to just 1 reply for each? You make them, then forgot about them. I just thought we could go back and forth, since there weren't anybody else trying. As I said, I tried. I'll just move on to other things then. No real biggie. Just puzzled as to why you would post those other three subjects, then after I replied, nothing. ??? John
