Indie Concerts.tv webcast entire indie concerts. We are looking for bands to provide concert footage that will be archived into a database for viewers to search for free. They will then preview the found shows, or pay-per-view the entire concert. Artists will receive royalties per stream. We have over 1000 hours of concert footage from our JPF showcases. (It may actually be more than that.. we've been videotaping showcases for over 5 years and have boxes and boxes of tapes from shows all over the place). Do you transfer it to digital? And do you allow the artists/orgs. who own the tapes to stream them on their site as well? Or do you share income from the paid viewings? We've thought about digitizing and posting all our showcase archives on our site.

Hey Brian: Yes, I do transfer from analog to digital, and encode the entire show for streaming using Windows Series 9 encoder. I have no exclusive rights to the footage. My site has the advantage of being a one-stop shop for fans, agents, venues, managers, labels, and promoters to easily see concerts they would not see otherwise. It is designed to give artists exposure to a worldwide audience they would not have otherwise. Currently, I have over 100 viewers waiting for content to view. They are from Japan, the Philipines, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the UK, as well as the U.S. Artists will get monthly royalties of 50%. Cost to pay-per-view is $6.50. Viewers can preview 5 minutes before paying for the entire show. Details are on the website. Click "New Artist" link on the home page to register through online form, and download the agreement.
