I like the concept and think you've got a good start put I think this needs some more polishing to really tighten up your verses and make your chorus stand out a little more.

Lots of good things here. Didn't quite get the "paisley" but figured it out! Takes me awhile sometimes...

One thing I'm still puzzling over is that "tongue wildly swimming"...! Huh?
Also, "tears between each kiss" sounds to me like a sad, not blissful, place. Unless he's into all pain, no gain?!

Love the title; some of the lines are wonderful..."lips a wind-blown prayer." That's creative!

tears between each kiss, is my way of saying every barroom romance has a melancholy twist to it.

I enjoyed this lyric. I had to read it a few times to really understand some of your lines. Like songbird said, some of the lines she mentionend were also confusing to me. I like them because they are unique, but just took me a second to understand what they meant. Everything is very descriptive which is great. I like when a lyric can paint a picture in my mind. You've definetly accomplished that here. I just think it needs a few tweaks here and there to really grasp the listener to understand each and every line. JMO!! I enjoyed. Jen
