Beautiful Messhttps://suno.com/s/XaSgkFn2K7LUglKG[Instrumental Intro] [Verse] One guy is shameless, drops in now and then Like he's been elected mayor by a vote of one again Calls us all the dyfunks, says we're getting it wrong Though he hardly ever shares a single song [Verse] One guy is witless, thinks he's Oscar Wilde Half the time he's brilliant, half the time he's wild Drops another one-liner, waits for the applause Then spends three pages arguing his own cause [Pre-chorus] Everybody's talking, nobody's listening Every little comment keeps the fire glistening [Chorus] Whoa, what a beautiful mess Everybody thinks they know best We're throwing words like confetti in a fight Then we're back again tomorrow night Whoa, what a beautiful mess Too much ego, too little finesse But when the dust settles and the smoke clears out We're still hanging around, no doubt [Break] [Verse] One guy is aimless, starts out making sense Then he storms around the forum jumping every fence Half the time he's lucid, half the time he's gone Chasing every rabbit trail from dusk till dawn [Pre-chorus] Everybody's talking, nobody's listening Every little comment keeps the fire glistening [Chorus] Whoa, what a beautiful mess Everybody thinks they know best We're throwing words like confetti in a fight Then we're back again tomorrow night Whoa, what a beautiful mess Too much ego, too little finesse But when the dust settles and the smoke clears out We're still hanging around, no doubt [Bridge] We're critics, comics, poets in disguise Kings and queens of overanalyzed replies Maybe we're ridiculous, that’s just who we are Laughing tomorrow, like it never went that far [Interlude] [Final chorus] Whoa, what a beautiful mess Everybody thinks they know best But beneath the noise and all the back-and-forth There's a bunch of dreamers proving what they're worth Whoa, what a beautiful mess Too much ego, too little finesse But when the dust settles and the smoke clears out We're still hanging around, no doubt [Outro] Whoa, what a beautiful mess Whoa, what a beautiful mess

Well, id say your description of " the artist formerly known as bafoon", is perfect. That's exactly what he or she thinks they are, Mayor of the site.
Speaking on the betterment of all here, as if he or she was elected to do so, or that they had any business running.
As far as me, you got that way wrong.
I don't think im Oscar Wilde, I think im Pete Townshend, Bruce Springsteen and Tom Pettys possible bastard child with Chrissy Hynde or Susan Vega, as a possible egg donor .

Dom, it's interesting how everyone seems to recognize somebody behind those characters. I guess that's the fun of satire - it isn't really about one specific person, but about personality types that we all recognize. 😄

LOL far more revealing when folks self identify with the general picture painted.
It can't be helped ....using what we experience here....to write something.
And if you are a Dysfunk as you are alleged to be, well, then as an expert you are definitely allowed to call out dysfunctional behaviour when you see it
Dom, love your response here ....when you untangle this.....possible bastard child of 3 rockstars and a wickedly good (I'd go for Chrissy myself) egg donor....an invitro bastard child pops out
Do have to say Rob that that first verse has an odd twilight rhyme scheme that seems particularly fitting
If writing ever becomes work I think I'm going to have to stop

"Sometimes reaching a goal earlier than planned is a great achievement. It shows you have worked hard, pushed ahead and made it happen. However, sometimes reaching a goal far past your original deadline, long after you wanted to complete it, and after the accolades you might once have gotten for the achievement are over, it is an even greater achievement. This shows you never gave up, due to adversity, deficit, criticism and those little life detours that end many dreams and goals. In many ways, this is a reason for even more pride!" -Brian Austin Whitney
