Sorry, it's late here.
Before I sign -off let me just say what my lyrics were about. The ones I originally posted, because I think you're heading in a different direction, which is fine. I'll follow you. I just need to know where you're going. This is where I'm coming from:

“Same Time, Same Dream” is an intimate, late-night song about longing, trust, and the quiet space between imagination and reality. It follows a woman who lies awake in the still hours of the night, suspended between consciousness and sleep, returning again and again to the same dream of a man she has not yet met — but deeply feels she will.
Rather than telling a conventional love story, the song lives in anticipation. Each verse captures a moment of half-wakefulness: warmth, darkness, a racing heart, a sense of hope that feels both fragile and certain. The repeated line “Meet me here, same time, same dream” functions as both a refrain and a promise — a ritual she returns to nightly, trusting that the dream is more than fantasy. To her, it feels like preparation.
What makes the song stand out is its minimalism and restraint. The verses are short, conversational, and rhythmically consistent, mirroring the steady pull of sleep. There’s no dramatic declaration of love; instead, emotion builds through repetition and subtle variation. The listener experiences the same gentle cycle the narrator does — drifting, returning, believing.
The song blurs the line between dreaming and destiny. The dream isn’t an escape from loneliness; it’s a place where loneliness ends. By staying awake “longer than she should,” the narrator isn’t resisting rest — she’s trusting it. She believes the dream is shaping her for a real meeting, one that feels inevitable rather than imagined.
“Same Time, Same Dream” is worth listening to because it captures a feeling many people recognize but rarely articulate: the sense that something meaningful is forming before it arrives, and that sometimes hope lives most clearly in the quiet moments no one else sees. It’s a song that doesn’t rush, doesn’t explain too much, and invites the listener to meet it where it lives — in that fragile space just before sleep.

Kay-lynn, you can do that too. Use your 1st verse recording as an upload and cover it with your new lyrics. Or use my version and cover it with your new lyrics.

ok, I'll give it a shot. But I will say, it was never about someone she never met........ it was always someone she knew. I'm so sorry if that wasn't clear. I should be better at communicating.

Hi Kay-lynn,
this is what Suno came up with. There was a typo in your lyrics that I missed. Sorry. We can get rid of that in the next version. I'm not sure what is going on in verse 3.

https://suno.com/s/53cu0Pa6PCqxAchX

This definitely works!

Here's another version where the typo is fixed. This has a shorter intro and different bridge. There are definitely issues in verse 3 that should be fixed (I think...).
https://suno.com/s/4XVTjraqtJsJUxkB

Here's my final version. I like this one. Short intro which gives it a higher commercial value and brings the song length below 3:30. The bridge is cool and has the catchy hook line at the end. I fixed verse 3 by adding "Pretty please". I love the rich vocal harmonies in this one. This song is absolutely beautiful. I'm amazed what came out of that 1st verse you posted yesterday.
https://suno.com/s/py2W9Mi4gW0J6AOY

Here are the lyrics I used in this last version.

Same Time Same Dream
[hyper-modern production with clear vocals, no autotune, Dolby Atmos mix, high-fidelity, high-definition audio and wide stereo]

[Instrumental Intro]

[Verse]
It’s warm, it’s late
I really shouldn’t be awake
But I am, and I know
I’m just waiting for the chance
To sleep and dream
Where I left off
Meet me here same time, same dream

[Verse]
It’s quiet, it’s dark
I’m trying to calm my beating heart
But I can’t
And I feel
Like I’m just holding on to hope
To breathe it seems
That’s all I know
Meet me here same time, same dream

[Bridge]
The sun comes up and hurts my eyes
I'm trying to keep you in my life
Even if it's only for tonight
I know you'll leave me here for now but please
Meet me here same time, same dream

[Verse]
You’re right, I can wait
Sometimes you have to go away
So I know, it’s not real
But that won’t save me from this day
So please, pretty please
Make me believe
Meet me here same time, same dream

[Break]

[Verse]
It’s warm, it’s late
I really shouldn’t be awake
But I am, and I know
I’m just waiting for the chance
To sleep and dream
Where I left off
Meet me here same time, same dream

[Outro - whispered]
Meet me here same time, same dream

Ok I'm getting ready to listen to your files............. but before I do I wanted to get down how I thought the bridge should sound before I forgot. I actually had to get my guitar out and sing it into sunos (which is a horrible feat btw)... but here it is.And yeah, it messed up the last line of lyric, I should always check that!! argg

not sure where "pretty please" came in.. did Suno do that?? LOL
But that version is pretty damn close to perfect my friend!!!!

I keep trying to correct the lyric that says KEEP me here same time... it's supposed to MEET... I try to change it and it changes the whole darn thing.

I like my bridge melody better, but I don't know how to mash those two things together... still learning stuff about this program and I keep stubbing my toe along the way.

I have no idea how to mash audio files together and upload them. We'll probably have to wait for V7. But, I was joking when I said pretty close. It's like you anticipated what Suno would do with those lines. What's even more interesting ... I got around 20 alternatives and I selected this one. Is that a sign or what?

I'm very satisfied with the whole song. I hope you like that "pretty please" line that I added. The break could be longer, the outro shorter, but all in all this is a beautiful song. I'd like to thank you and Gary for a great co-writing experience. I learned a lot. Next time I'll go to IKEA before I write a lyric to add more "furniture". I never heard that term before. These next couple of days I won't have much time available. Feel free to use my version for future tinkering. If you want me to send you an MP3 or something, let me know.

Yes, please send me the mp3 cus perhaps my son Patrick can mash it together. I think you have to go do studio mode or something to cut something out and insert something else, but that's way above my pay grade.

To be really honest, I don't like "pretty" please......(sorry)....

It has been a wonderful experience and I couldn't thank you both more!!!................

Yeah that furniture thing is from a mentor of mine, it means you have to have "things" in a song, not just feelings.

Please send the mp3 to my email and I know you're busy, but stick around................ "pretty please".. <<<<<<<< lol

I really like how you got Sunos to pause between the words at the end. How did you tell it to do that???? I need that instruction for the other song we're working on.

Kay-lynn,
I think we should post the finished song in the MP3 section because some people here don't visit the lyric sections, only the MP3 and AI sections. What do you think? I would gladly do that if you think it's a good idea.

I've heard a phrase Producers use in Recording, about having a Song Recorded where the execution of the Chorus is 'perfect' in one giving, but flawed in another, and they 'Fly the Chorus', meaning copy the section of the Recording with the good one and paste it in for other givings of the Chorus. Some technological 'splicing'.
It could be the second or the third and 'Fly' it back to replace the flawed first giving.
Or any way it goes, just to get three good givings of the Chorus.
I suspect singers flub a bit of Prosody, not hitting the beat exactly right each time, and Producers 'have the ears' to hear that flaw, and know how to fix it without requiring another Recording Session with live singers/players.

There will always be another song to be written. Someone will write it. Why not you? www.garyeandrews.com
