The Girls Remember Everything
[Verse] There’s a house on an island Where the rich men roamed Locked doors, empty hallways Secrets called it home
[Verse] Private planes and whispers Stories no one knew They thought their gold could save them But shadows always do
[Pre-chorus] Walls can’t hold the voices Truth won’t be contained Every hidden photograph Every life left stained
[Chorus] The girls remember everything The silence and the fear The rooms where they were taken Every whispered lie they’d hear
You can bury every secret But the truth takes wing You can run from what you’ve done But the girls remember everything
[Post-chorus] Oh… the girls, they remember They remember everything
[Verse] They smiled for cameras Danced on gilded floors Some said “I barely knew him,” But they all knew more
[Verse] Promises of safety Broken one by one The whispers grow louder And the girls are done
[Bridge] Empires built on lies Crashing under truth The girls are rising now Reclaiming stolen youth
[Final chorus] The girls remember everything The silence and the fear The rooms where they were taken Every whispered lie they’d hear
You can bury every secret But the truth takes wing You can run from what you’ve done But the girls remember everything
[Post-chorus / whispered echo] Oh… the girls, they remember They remember everything

Islands, planes, rich men...
Perhaps your last two offerings could use a little... abstraction.

Perhaps your last two offerings could use a little... abstraction. Thanks, Tony — I appreciate that. I’m definitely aiming for imagery that feels grounded, but I can see how a little more abstraction or metaphor could open the song up and make it more universal. I’ll experiment with that in the next revision.

I guess your talking about the Epestien files , what a distraction to deflect the economy in the toilet Hey Ben, yes, the song is inspired by the Epstein case — it’s been all over the news and it’s a genuinely horrific story. I’m not trying to make a political point, just writing about something deeply human and tragic. Songwriters have always responded to real events, and this one struck me. Thanks for reading.

I guess Thomas Jefferson and Kennedy were both womanizers , This is nothing new . More gossip for press to yammer on , As Trump dines the prince with a harem. Pheasant under glass . I doubt people with jobs , give a fuk about rich people and their sex lifes
