Not been able to find anything you like for a song?
I had one song where I had a great version, somehow got deleted, all the precursors of it too, think I was clearing space and messed up
Haven't found a version at all, that's close. Tried different genres, different verbiage, different styles, and dozens and dozens of takes.
I have now seen first hand that this doesn't always get the job done. I'm going to switch to suno and do my own melodies and riffs soon, but...

Not sure I am following what you are describing. Suno has been very reliable and easy to use. Not perfect, but really good. I continually redo stuff. I have found a really effective way to get Suno to follow your exact melody which you can then "cover" in various genres to more effectively present your own work using them for production. It is funny how much better I am at it from just months ago.

Make sure you do NOT make anything important with the Free version. You can't use it for any commercial purpose and they control it. Always download WAV versions of your work to a local drive.
