V2 has these internal rhymes that move it along nicely...but it is all missing from V1

That indicates different melody to me...

Yep. Always room for a rewrite. Not sure when or which way it'll go.

Something some guys do when hey feel edgy and end up doing something rash. I do hope that someday the PTB will realize that prohibition of this activity has been every bit as futile as it was with liquor a century ago.
