Trying to figure out if it improves the overall final sound over the master buss plugins I already have (mostly waves).
Any comments would be appreciated.

I use Ozone 5, Kevin. I havent upgraded to 6, as I depend on the presets for each module there is in version 5.
The way I use it is to start from scratch, deactivate every module, and then take each module in steps, where I walk through the presets (the module presets, not the general presets) using my ears to see if it sound good or not. If it does, I add it, if it doesn't, I don't.
Izotope seems to have taken the module presets away in version 6, why I haven't upgraded. But I'd bet it sounds great, and probably will give you a simpler and better sounding post-mix solution than the Waves plugins (and I don't like being WUPP'ed!).
Version 6 looks interesting in the way you can use other plugins in the chain, than the modules in Ozone, though.
Version 7 of Ozone is on the way now, so maybe I'll wait to see what that offers. Can't keep up with the upgrade schedule of some of these companies. So much good stuff.

I also use Ozone 5, which I love. Friend of mine bought Ozone 5 and upgraded to Ozone 6 by mistake. Izotope wouldn't let him reverse it but he has finally accepted it and is happy now. Use a preset to start and then tweak it 'til you like it.

I use Ozone 6. It was an adjustment from Ozone 5, but its a great update. Much more flexible than version 5.
You can recreate your settings in 6 if you use version 5.
As far as mastering goes - its an extremely useful tool. Highly recommend it.

I may have to take another look. They gave me a code to try the 10 day trial again. Maybe by next week I can carve out some time.

Now Ozone 7 is coming out. So maybe wait a few days for that.
