Mike you use what works for you best...that is a motto we should all adopt. Just as you may struggle to work a mouse and a PC to control your set up......I struggle to use a foot pedal to control things.....heck I use stage lights, a backing track controller and my mic control FX for live cabaret that all work of foot pedals... I often muck it up by pressing the wrong switch or forgetting to press the switch......LOL
