Jay Turser is just a marketing name. They actually design and develop specs, but source their instruments, from among other companies, TEAM International in China which makes the SX line of guitars. http://www.teamintlco.com/Sx/Canyontide...I have 4 SX guitars. Two acoustics, an electric and an acoustic bass. Great sound, quality and price...and all from Rhondo
