For anyone really interested in the reality of life going on with issues like this, I am a subscriber to an industry newsletter called "The Dean's List." It is composed by a man who is involved in all these legal issues. It comes out every week and is frankly one of the more depressing things you will ever read. But it covers all these legal issues and is one of the main reference pieces almost all songwriters and publishers are using. It is like a Bible with a lot of topics and a lot of information. If you can wade through it, you are much better than I am.
