All good points fellas.

I guess the bottom line is "Have you been through a filtering mechanism, before you decide to to submit" and is the submission spot on the money for the genre ?

There's many that write all sorts of tunes, which are not No 1 hits, but have their place in the overall scheme of things.

The weirdest thing I did lately ( yes, I know, I do a lot of weird things eek LOL ) was mixing in a mountain blues with harp and mandolin, into a southern crunk beat, for a commercial.

Didn't get the gig, but it was worth a shot, and that's what the client wanted, and was willing to pay good money for it.

That is of course, someone paying me. Not the other way around.

Paying for an introduction ? I don't know, still sounds like a dating agency, but sometimes things work out Ok.

Don't be worried about me Ron, I'm just some old fashioned dude who can't get his head around the tail wagging the dog.
