Nice, Kevin. I hear both of the influences you mentioned. Seems more like something Van the Man would do - maybe with Rick Danko singing harmony.  Has a nice feel to it - music supports the nostalgic feel of the lyric. Only one nit - the rhyme of all and poll seemed a little too much of a stretch to me.... Scott
