Mike, That is a band I didnt even think of.....you are right.I remember the naysayers concerning the beatles.I guess it just comes down to taste. There is a guy here in portland who is what I would consider a musicians musician.We were talking one day and the beatles came up,he did not like them for that very reason.He thought they were too sugary/pop/bubble gum,I was aghast....ha ha. I can see how they were a bit fluffy in the early days,but thats a band that still really got under my skin despite the fluff.
