Alright, I blame Beth for my involvement in this....after that Cookie Challenge, and since I saw this post on Friday and have spent the entire weekend sitting in the bleachers at my sons' wrestling tournaments, I had quite a bit of time for some "mindful" thinking (or should I say mindless?)...my body is stiff, but my mind is flowin'! smile

So, with the help of Wikipedia, I tried to be as accurate as possible...it was actually fun!

I've enjoyed all the colorful songs so far...So Creative Everybody! I've gotten a kick out of them all smile

I know I’ve bent the truth
And shoved your face in the snow
I’ve created much noise
When it’s twenty below
But even the angels
Are clothed in my wonderful robes

I know I deceive
And separate the spectrum
I may be transparent
And a little hum-drum
But even the Beatles
Used me to sell an album

(ch)
Let’s wave a white flag
I’ll light the stars in the sky
To shine through my clean tone
I think you may be surprised
There’s a lot more to me
Than meets the eye
So let’s wave a white flag
Let’s be friends, you and I

Although I have no hue
I have a colorful heart
I can heal like magic
I’m where purity starts
And even the president
Thinks I’m a work of art

(ch)
Let’s wave a white flag
I’ll light the stars in the sky
To shine through my clean tone
I think you may be surprised
There’s a lot more to me
Than meets the eye
So let’s wave a white flag
Let’s be friends, you and I

Let’s wave a white flag
Let’s be friends, you and I

A musician must make music, an artist must paint, a poet must write,
if he is to be ultimately at peace with himself. What a man can be,
he must be. -- Abraham Maslow, American Psychologist
