Fortunately, I did a couple of times and they were great!
The first time {in 1979} a then unknownn guy named John Cougar opened for them. Dave embarked on a solo acoustic tour a few years back, and I was supposed to open for him at The Blue Note in Cincinnati, but he sold a total of TWO advanced tickets and the show was cancelled! {There's something in the WATER in Cincy!} Shortly after, Dave had a stroke and I haven't heard how well he's been doing.
