Eric Burdon recieved a demo from Justin Hayward and sent that tape to The Moody Blues in 1966.
I guess a guitarist that not only had the talent but could also spot talent is another unappreciated ability in itself, and for the grounbreakers they helped bring.
But then again, some did'nt even pick up an instrument and spotted that talent.
A hell of a guitarist and innovator anyway.
