Christine, I also have an individual plan with a $5000 deductible, but I also have another non deductible plan that covers up to $4000 a year. If I need to use both plans at the same time than my deductible goes down to $1000 out of pocket. The larger plan insures me for $1,000,000 per year and doctor visits are $20 co-pay. I can also get a physical or a colonoscopy with a $20 co-pay. The deductible kicks in if I have a major condition. I am paying $180 per month for the $1,000,000 plan and $65 per month for the $4000 plan plus $11 per month for dental and vision.$256 per month total. I have been on this plan for over a year and have yet to use it. Ben

"If you are stuck in your musical composing, be unreasonable. Change your environment. If you are stuck in your lyrical efforts, instead of forcing the same old words out, force yourself to do unreasonable things." -Brian Austin Whitney
