I think you pretty well summed it up Brian. I watch it because I watch just about anything that has to do with music, especially if it is unsigned talent.

I figured Melinda to win it the first time I heard her sing. That girl has some pipes. I just hope she isn't manipulated out of it.

The first time they showed the little girl I thought, how cute. By the end of the show I thought, hmmm, how convenient.
If she had been fifty rows back it would have been a little more believable.
