Heh, American You've Got Talent, another reality show I was asked to submit to and didn't get an audition. :-)

As for your idea. Why don't you write up a treatment? Shop the idea to TV networks. It's as valid as American Idol. Get them to follow some of the nominees around up till the night of the awards, as well as filming the awards. Not only would you be getting exposure for JPF, but they'd probably front you some much needed cash for the rights to air it. You just have to pitch it correctly. It's not a bad idea. You could also get them to do vignettes on the some of the judges in the later rounds (if any were willing). Its not that far off Brian, I think you could pitch it. I even know a TV producer that might dig the idea. Not to mention it would really put you on the map in competition with AMA's and the Grammy's etc... Only this is "reality" tv.

Just a thought.
